To be honest guys, no offence intended, but I get this wierd feeling whenever I think about someone possesion my masters who isnt me.

Im quite happy with the sound quality on the site but would prefere my track to be as is from my site rather than normalised & stuff

From the MASTER come all COPIES.

You will be sending a COPY of the MASTER to NFO, so that he can MASTER the track so that it's levels match those of all other tracks on the CD.

Meaning, when folks play the CD, your song wont be lower in volume than the rest, or higher in volume. There should be a steady VOLUME level betwixt all songs.

So, to recap.

YOU have the MASTER.

NFO will MASTER a COPY of your MASTER

I am MASTER of the UNIVERSE.

use WaveZip... it will compress a wave file by half... like Winzip. so it will be quicker on the FTP upload uncompress the wave file back 2 it's original sound and none is lost. great program.

Maybe some people who are on a 56k internet connection are not looking forward to a three hour upload. That's pretty much the only reason i can think of.

I would love to see all the high quality tracks on a full artwork CD. And i think Yamomma and NFO are investing some serious time and money to set it all up.
