I c sexafter taste is bizzy, havent heard from Dre in a while, Jason u got an album cummin out. Big thing got sumthin...Vina's workin on her jazz stuff, Otan's always clockin the jizz, Artist 08 dooin muzik stuff, Cloud sound bizzy as funk.

I dunno, I am just blah rite now. Nothing 2 do. Out of creativity after "Groove Simplistic". Even I'm bored with my shit. Been making a Timbaland mix though 12 minutes so far...

Any of yall feel like me?

Funny, I have a LONG list of stuff I want to do, besides recording and this weekend I felt "BLAH" and didn't get too much done. Now I'm all jazzed about stuff and REALLY SUPER EXCITED because a producer I really admire just told me he wants to produce some tracks for me.

So, we all have those "Blah" days, don't let it get you down. Take a walk, watch a movie, cook, do something different! I would say listen to music, but sometimes that doesn't help. Read a book or look at some pictures. Your creativity will come back!

Hi Izaiah. I'm glad you've posted this. I'm searching for someone to help me with a colaberation and as U are my favorite vocalist on here I was hoping you would help me.

I want to write a song for a friend. I was just going to send her the lyrics, but I figure now that I want the song recorded. I can't sing or play any instruments so I was thinking of offering an open deal to anyone on the org.

I'll write my song and post the lyrics. Then any artist or a mix of several can record it. All I ask for is that I can burn a copy for myself and a few friends, aside from that the rights to the song and the recording souly belong to whoever helped record it as a thank you gift.

I've been trying all weekend

"otan's always clockin the jizz" -- is that another term for getting up at 6am with the baby boy? or does it mean spending the whole weekend with the in-laws... cuz, yeah, I'm definitely "clockin the jizz" if THAT'S what it means!!

Actually, after the "go natural" posting last week, I've been jonesing to get my hands on a drumkit and lay down some natural funk. I've got the hookup on the kit, so hopefully I'll get a chance to get it cooking this weekend. At this point, i'm in pre-pre-production. THAT is where you go over all the songs in your mind and tell yourself that you'll sound AWESOMER than anything that's ever been recorded in the history of recording.

And then there's post-production, where you listen back to your shit and wonder why in the hell you even try, when you're just no good, go get another bud light and call it a day...

I tell you, I'm going for the 70's drum feel... sort of a "Love and Happiness" drum feel. did you KNOW that those drums were recorded with just one mic?

The producer STILL won't tell where he put the mic. DAMN HIM! anyhow - that's what I'm going for.

Anyhow - yeah, work is lightening up finally, and I'm able to sit at my desk and stare into space, thinkin up my next release... "CLOCKIN THE JIZZ, OTAN-STYLE".

Im waiting for my thumb to stop hurting so I can thump up a storm

Yep, I've got three gigs this week, two graduations, one job interview, one open house - then I leave Sunday and go on vacation! I just wish I was clockin' tha jizz instead...hahaha. BTW, wish me luck on that job interview I needs mo' money!

I am recording music this week. I have 6 beats done right now and 2 complete songs. But, the CD will have 21 songs, and I am shooting for a July 4th CD release date, so I have alot of work to do. Plus, I have over an acre of grass to mow this week.

Waiting 4 my comp 2 get fixed. Just touring at the moment... did a festival in Brighton, UK playing percussion for around 6 bands and a campfire set where I played Double Bass.

Doing a weekly DJ Residency on Thursdays and once a month on Saturday (Next date will be this Saturday - June 7th for the UK ORGers: Paradise Bar, New Cross, London SE14 tel. +44 208 692 1530 for more details).

On the same day I'm playing at the Strawberry Fair n Cambridge UK on the Lost Vagueness Stage

May pop 2 Spain around June 14th-21st for a holiday
Will Be playing The Glastonbury festival again at the end of the month on the Avalon Stage, Lost Vagueness in the Green fields and the Piano Bar. (Mindflux get in touch!)

and a few more dates TBC in July.

Primarily I am waiting 4 my computer 2 be repaired so I can start (or continue) working with new and existing members of the DreZone roster and want 2 start work on the 5th DreZone album.

as a footnote, one of my clients Efe, 2 weeks ago, received a phonecall from George Michael regarding clearance for a track on his new album! From what I've been told, he has visited the site and listened 2 Efe's material and is willing to take the matter forward. Stay tuned.

Currently in an Internet Cafe as I write this so I will see you guys soon.
