Could start thinking about linking to some serious 'Funk' sites.

Once you have a marketing plan in place, you can approach preferred sites with the offer of promotion and trade off links...allowing them to also link to NFO giving them exposure. If they know you are planning promo for NFO, they too should be interested in your promotional offer. Just ask.

I learned some things from a master webdesigner regarding promotion & search engine ratings, you may have heard of him...his names Ben Margolin

Here is his advice & if prince.org & cloud9mission.com are anything to go by, it works

yes Lewis...that's a given and I'm sure Ben will get on it. Be great too if NPGMC picked up on it...but knowing the Man's b-i-g heart...we know that isn't going to happen...even if it is a tribute to him.

But there are sooo many Funk sites out there.

I hope that the promo exchange idea you mention will work. I like the idea. I would put peoples ads on my site all day in return for people to see the message of freedom in this freedom of music revolution we have created. Money don't matter. As you can see by my minimal sites at www.jasondodson.tk, and www.thecrusade.faithweb.com ( the latter of which I haven't fully updated for about 2 years- sorry!), I link people there for free as it is, so I have no financial motives.
