Red said: awe Vina...wasn't saying I didn't like it...was just thinking outside our little world and trying to expand and expound. Thinking Universal means, to me anyway...the possibilities are endless. Is this club open to aliens too .
The possibilities are endless. I absolutely agree. Think Globally, Funk Locally is a variation on the slogan that Earth Day types used to use to get people to recycle and pick up trash off the beach. Anybody remember this? They used to say, Think Globally, Act Locally. So I just assimilated it. Think Universally, Funk Globally doesn't roll of the tongue as nicely. Plus, we are all starting locally at some point, in our computers (in our own little worlds), and in sharing this info with those we have regular contact with. My fans are going to be introduced to this whole world of music. So it still is pretty expansive, in my oppinion.

What about 'Think Universal / Funk Global' Yeah theres not much local about us as we're all from different parts of the world. What she means is that we should promote locally and focus on getting the word out in our local media. Then, individuals can possibly do gigs locally (even for free- promotion is promotion- I don't mind performing for free at all). Then, each individual can work on regional promotion and worldwide gigs with the rest of the NFO members. Peace, JD

Not for sale That doesn't convey what Otan had originally asked for, which was something that said: Funky Music Do it yourself/Indie Musicians, A collective/compliation of musicians from all over the place
