Your own online shop anyone??

Hey all,

check out the company Im using to sell my CD now. Its called cafepress.com & costs nothing to set up & they make & ship everything for you. Its the cheapest mp3.com type thing Ive seen & they charge about half as much as mp3.com. Also you can make other products too not just CDs.

Heres the site: http://www.cafepress.com

& heres my shop I created with em http://www.cafeshops.com/cloud9mission

This is definatly worth bearing in mind for the NFO

thanx

Lewis

Yeah - I'm getting it for the boy... I'm a sucker.

Lewis this is awesome - I had no idea about the CD stuff. I'm all over it, thanks!

Should we put the NFO CD up on that thing?

I think that would be cool! And the shirts and stuff would be awesome as well! Imagine that logo on a t-shirt. Sweet.

I'm tellin you, (and Lewis will back me up) it's SO easy to set up all that stuff... just upload the art and then click on all the different doodads that you want the logo to appear on... it's great.

Yeah thats right. At first I thought it would just be good advertising to have a couple of peeps walking around with my webaddress on display but I checked my earnings the other day & noticed they had announced a CD program. Exactly the same thing, you upload the mp3s & artwork & bingo. They make the CDs & ship em for $4.

They've certainly solved my CD problem & I made my first profit on my album in a year last week!!! (on the net that is wink)

Say what? I checked it out, and I thought you have to send them an initial CD and they burn subsequent copies... but, sure, I just glanced at it lickety split.

Thanks for the help Lewis. DAMN I'm on that!

Yeah I have indeed. Just set it up for the sake of doing it at first but now some folks even sent me some photos of them wearing the tshirts smile

That would deffinately be the "economic engine" described here: http://www.prince.org/msg...&tid=46947

That would cover costs of the web hosting.

If successful, may even cover a more elaborate web hosting package as well.

I think we should all hold fast to what Jason said in the beginnig though, the music should always be free.

The merchandise could be the money maker though.

Is it possible to make a shared PayPal account that would distribute funds evenly?

Cfaepress can do that too. You list all the owners of the artwork & it divides the profit & sends each person a check

Funny, after working with that cover for a while, I thought it would make a better T-shirt.

I'd buy one!

Can we do it on black shirts, or is strictly white?

There are different coloured shirts but if they are white, thats the colour it comes in
