I can't express how i feel what you all must be going through right now. Minneapolis has always been the center of the universe, to me. I feel so far away. But I know that you all are very strong, very connected, and very loved. A friend once said, " and this too, will pass." and when the dust all settles, Minneapolis and Minnesota will be known not only for PRINCE, but most imporatantly, The birth place of Freedom and Justice. Each and everyone of you will be remembered as Warriors. Paisely Park is in your hearts.

I was hanging out with a friend today and he asked me, "what is it about Paisley Park you always talk about."

I told him, "growing up, for me, it was the only place I knew where it's safe to be a kid"

Considering what we were watching on the news at the time.

He looked at me and I knew he understood me a bit more.
