my band is looking for a bass player and a drummer.

what's our style: drum and bass-ish, funk based, electro but with pop sensibilities. when i say pop sensibilities i mean we have songs with structures and not just mindless jamming all the time.

i play keys, Mike plays guitar and May sings. all this time we have been gigging to backing tracks that we build ourselves.

we all live in London, England so we want someone from the city. we have a couple of GREAT contacts and our producer is well-known. we have a slot to play at Glastonbury this year but that is not finalized.
the other thing is that we are all HUGE Prince fans especially May, our producer and myself.

we want musicians who are FONKAYYY as hell. basses poppin' and drumz a snappin'. that's the criteria really. no time wasters please.

Milty, if you're from London...can you give me at least 2 really good wrecka stowes that distribute electro pop dance? Have a couple friends that have just released similar, heavily drum based, mad conga and a didgereedoo that sounds real nasty on the dance floor. They callin it electroslap&blow. Pretty coo.

Love your input and out there in Frankfurt, Berlin or Linz - would love any input from U 2; preferably the smaller hipper stores that accept independents.

If I lived in England I would be happy to play drums for you! Talk to Cloud9Mission (Lewis Partridge). He is a very skilled drummer and might be interested in doing some songs with you.
