You realize that this is an international website where probably 80% of the members cannot tune in, right?

I just had another look at the Live365 site, and I have found the reason why many people cannot use it:

"By broadcasting with Live365, your station is covered for transmissions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and United Kingdom."

So your listeners in Greece, Netherlands, Columbia, Italy and Sweden - and anywhere else other than the 4 above locations - must be using VPN's set to one of those 4 locations.

Anyone not living in one of those 4 locations - i.e. most of the world, they will either need to use a VPN to change IP to one of the 4 locations or else they won't be able to stream (for anyone who can use a VPN set to one of those locations, if you have already clicked the link to live365.com then you will first need to remove live365 cookies, as the first cookie it adds contains your IP location, and this cookie will not be overwritten after you use a VPN to change to a new IP location).

Not everybody is going to have a VPN (or be bothered to switch to 1 of the 4 required locations), so you are missing out on (possibly quite a few) potential listeners at the moment.

According to the Live365 About page, they originally closed on 31st Jan 2016 "due to changes in the U.S. licensing laws", so this may be why they currently only have licencing for the 4 locations mentioned above.

However, that's not really a valid excuse for their restrictive licencing - there are plenty of internet radio providers that use umbrella licencing which would allow you to reach listeners in all locations.

So, if you've got the time and inclination to do this, I would suggest investigating alternative radio hosting services.

Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
