Maybe we oughtta just have a single thread dedicated to new song. I haven't seen much from folks lately - except Cloud9's killer tune, Dre's stuff, and, um, see? I lost track already.

SO here's mine - featuring my 6-month-old boy. He wouldn't settle down while I was recording the acoustic guitars, so, what the hey, leave him in there. He was a little grumpy, but I promise, I wasn't beating him. Those are handclaps.

By the way, a baby in the song has no relevence whatsoever... dang it, cuz that would be way cool, wouldn't it?

I uploaded 3 new songs to MP3.com sites on Wednesday, they should be up by this Wednesday coming up. I will post the link when they are on there. One is called "Fun" that my 6 year old helped write, the other is called "Saint" (Isaiah knows that one) and another is called "Sheep" which is a good early 80's funk jam with a message about "not following an Earthly leader".

Hi All! Glad to have found the musicians. I'm a trumpet player by trade, but also play Bass, Keys, drum programming, misc. percussion, some guit. and attempt some vocals when i'm feelin bold! also anything else i can get my hands on is usaully fair game to try a track or 2 w/. Was readin about the New Funk Order and am wonderin' what it's all about. Is this a collaboration thing that others can get in on??? if so, would love to get involved. Have done quite a bit of internet collaboration w/ friends around the country using Cubase, Acid, Sonar, whatever works best for the project. Just started getting into MIDI on the PC and experiencing all the frustrations that come along w/ that. Would love for some of U to check out my music.
