...reminded me about the Contest Song from last year.

Did any of you do anything with this? I heard the 3 winners, but wondered what the quality of the other entries was like.

Personally I was too busy to put my entry in at the time, but I did do something with it about a week late for the competition and sent it to NPGMC.

While you respond, I'll try to find it and upload it somewhere!

I remember seeing something about it too, but like you, I didn't do jack about it until after the fact. The winners were okay, but I remember thinking there was more quality in the production than in the actual songs themselves - but I barely remember the songs now, and it was probably my jealousy that judged those songs, not my ears.

Awful spoken bit on intro
Spoken bit in false american accent in middle section

I was quite pleased with the harmonies
The guitar solo - the first time I'd used my blue 'cloud' guitar!
