I was standing on the roof top looking up at the peace sign when suddenly I hear a gun shot. I look down onto the ground beneath me. They were cashing him. Gun shot again. He was wonded. still he manage to climb the ladder to where I was. In a panic I tried to help him. Screaming Come! Come!

Meanwhile back in Minneapolis,

I just got the call. Mackey was downstairs and I was ready to go.

I let Bear in and locked up.

I had changed my outfit 5 times, I swear.

I just wanted to be look "normal". I found the look.

a blue plaid short sleeve shirt, light blue jeans and my pink vans.

yeah this is it. No not the wig. not tonight.

When i opened the door downstairs, there she was. Girl Mackey.

She looked beautiful. I told her so, just in case she didn't know.

yeah, she said. I have been wanting to wear this top for the longest time

i thought it was appropriate. It sure was. I was a beaded 30's style blouse.

each of the beads look like pearls. She looked stunning.

You don't look so bad yourself, she said returning the compliment.

Thank you. I returned.

Just then some dude was walking by and I caught him looking my girl

up and down. She saw my reation and looked over to see him and

when there eyes locked, He said "what's up baby girl"

now being on the street and coming from New York City, my first thought was "THIS MOTHER FUCKER!"

Now as Mackey said hey back to him. It was in her voice that i realized that she was completely uninterested, but very Minnesotian. Nice. Mackey is Nice.

I started to relax again. I could hear Prince in my head saying, calm down, calm down, now calm down boy.

I exhaled. ooooohhhh, i thought i was gonna have to fight. lol

Mackey looking over at me, seeing the drama unfold. Laughs and says don't be insecure.

I'm not insecure! i definately said.

She looks at me.

ok, ok. ok. I breath again. I'm good. FINE!

I look at her and i look and myself reflecting off Duke, THE NEON DNYAMITE and I turned to Mackey and said "do i look fat?'

We both laughed.

We decided that we were gonna walk. Leaving Duke behind we ventured off. I like walking with Mackey. We both are always full of ideas and we bounce them off of each other. We talk about God a lot. How our every interaction with "choice" is an expression of God. Mackey and I talk about the meaning of life and what is our purpose.

We honetsly never quite know the answer, but in the moment our imaginations run wild.

As we were walking I start noticing more and more random people commenting Mackey on her style. You know a wink here from some lady, a word here and there from different people. I was starting to feel like i was excorting a princess to the event. Clear the way, Clear the way, with her being so gracious. Thank you, Thank you.

We arrived at the venue. Whew! Everyone had been seated. We were the last to arrive.

We are escorted to our seats. The best in the house, in my opinion. It was dark and we were unnoticed. Mackey and I had been there earlier during the day and found out that this booth had become available. I got the cash! Boom! We scored.

I was excited because Mackey had never seen the show before and I was eager for her to feel the experience. This one being special because it was her birthday.

As we sat down in our booth, our server presented us with menu's and said, i'll give u a moment and come back to see if you would like anything. We both said thank you and he walked away. I looked around at the tables around me. The food looked amazing and everyone was sipping on cocktails. So fancy. Just then I realized something and I whispered to Mackey in a panick.. "Mackey i don't have anymore money. I spent it all on the tickets."

Mackey smiling says i ate before I left. I'm good. don't worry. Mackey isn't a drinker so water it was. We poured each other a glass of water, made a toast "may tonight be a night to remember"and we were good.

After a few moments and a shout from a friend, I wasn't sure if he was wearing his WEEN Socks this time, the announcement began.
