Check out my short film!! My friends and I made this over the weekend for the 48 Hour Film Project. You draw a genre and have 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and score it from scratch. I know it’s 100% non-Prince related - although I did host a podcast during the production and exclusively played Prince songs! - but that’s my little daughter in it and you guys are all so cool and supportive, I just thought you might get a kick out of it. My other daughter did the music and has only been playing the piano since Xmas. If you’ve got 7 minutes, be sure to watch after the credits for a bonus scene that shows off her ukulele chops. Hope you all like it. Cheers! http://whyshorts.com/literally.html

Thanks! The genre we drew was “Generation Gap” and we had to have a character be a coach. I thought it would be funny to make the child be a “life coach” to the adult so we could juxtapose the conventional wisdom about generations. That, and seeing an innocent little girl swearing always cracks me up! Oh damn — I just now realized I should’ve given a NSFW warning because of that! SOOOO sorry, guys!!

It's refreshing to see something that highlights the dangers of taking life coaching too literally 😂🤣😂 Well written, well acted and well directed. If this is an example of your work you definitely have a talent for it. I'm looking forward to seeing more😎✌❤ P.s. the music was great too. Hearing the Hungarian Dance reminded me of my son practising it on his violin!👌

Thank you SO much for your feedback! I’m so glad you liked it. You can definitely see more of our work. Check out http://whyshorts.com/index.html and click on any film you like! “Time Travel Redux” is our response to our first LAME attempt at the 48HR Film Project — a film so bad, I disowned it! Thank you again for your comments and interest, and thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to watch!

By the way, the Prince-themed pirate radio broadcast we did during the production has been edited down and archived at http://bad7radio.com/WQ4819.html if you guys want some great “Purple Music” to play for a few hours in a NSFW setting! Just please don’t turn me in to the FCC or the Estate police, yeah? It’s a fun listen, I promise. You get little a “fly on the wall” perspective on the filmmaking process for short bursts, and the huge bulk of it is music from our favorite genius!

Usually not to the point where one of them leaves the other one for dead though! Great work 😎✌❤
