I'm still listening, but here are a couple things that jump out at me:

He said that he worked on a 100 songs, from which they chose the 13 for the Orginals, and implied there's a second set ready and waiting to be released.

He says is that the condition of the tapes from the earilier era is actually in better condition the tapes from the later decades (because the formula for making the tapes changes over time, and the earlier stuff was sturdier).

Makes sense to me. I have audio and video cassettes made in the early '80s that hold up better than ones made in the late '90s. Better quality tapes made on better quality equipment...

Great interview. It was really interesting and encouraging to hear that he contacted the engineers and others who worked on the music at the time. That was very encouraging.

.

It was also enlightening to hear the perspective of a casual fan (at most) and then he became immersed in the music and was so impressed and excited by it.

.

Finally, Org moderators, please let these interview and podcasts back into Prince Music and More. If this exact same interview was done by mainstream outlet, it would be in Prince Music and More and possiby on the homepage. Let's think it through, please, please, please.
