Thank you. Another good piece. Did I miss where the article contained your quote about Prince finding God in music and in women? What was the context around that?

Thank you! There will be more in the book I'm writing on Prince and spirituality. I always like to share an interesting quote at the top of the article and will provide more context later. But it's basically to say Prince's spiritual beliefs were not always as rigid as we may think. Miss513

You mean his religious beliefs? There is no rigidity in spirituality. It's an oxymoron. The two don't co-exist. THere is however rigidity in religion.
There's a big difference between spirituality and religion.
I always have known since spring or summer of 2016 as I studied Prince that he was a spiritual man who also had religious beliefs. He said himself that in the end we're all growing into a religion. But we keep the spiritual life we have at the same time. He was very spiritual but also in fact very rigid about the religious beliefs he added in. He wasn't perfect in achieving his religious ideals, but believed strongly in them.
Prince's life in this aspect: spiritual (he was born with an evolved soul that had seen oher lifetimes prior and was here to grow that soul even more and was incredibly wise from a very young age), then he had an indoctrination to religion around the early 2000s when he really began to seek while in pain after the death of his son, then later he opened the path up with different and fresher eyes to spirituality, while also keeping some of his new religious beliefs.
He was just a joy to be around. EVery moment with him was a gift to those in his presence.
