One of the best moments of My Minneapolis is when we had a special guest performer stop by..

Some of you may remember Morgan from The Nelsons...

but that was 5 years ago.

Since we last seen Morgan he has become quite an interesting artist in his own right.

He writes, performs and produces his own music. He self released an EP a few months back

and his mom sent it to me. I LOVED IT! I said to her I want to shoot a music video with him.

Would he be interested?

She checked with him and he was excited to do it.

He said he wanted to write a whole new song

that wasn't on the album. I like the way the kid thinks.

So I said ok. A week later his mom send me the new track. I listened to it at 2 AM and I was just so connected to the song in a way that made me feel like he had been running around in my head and collecting words that were bounching around and manage to but them together in a way that was so inocently honest and true.

About a week went by and I met up with Morgan and his Mom at a resturant over lunch and caught up. Morgan had grown so much since the last time I had seen him. It was good to see them again.

Any how, he, his family and friends came to the My Minneapolis event and he did a surprise performance. It was great.

Then a day later we shot the music video for his new song......
