In a bubble from the past

For the next chapter to arrive

In the meantime

I derive

Lessons learned from

Patience and Perseverance

Existing in what seems

A prison sentence

Or some strange servitude

For life to move on...

The waiting seems endless

And without flow

From one continuum

To another....

There are good days

And bad

Some happy

Some sad

But the date of release

Is never far from the mind

And seems without end...

Hope, faith, and fear

Mix together on the brink

Maybe I'll float

Instead of sink

While I wait

For the rest of my life

To move forward

Free falling in a vacuum...

Lost in suspended animation
