Hi All,

I posted a video a while back of me playing Father's Song from Purple Rain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiV12Sq8Lts) and promised a transcription.

Time got away from me, and while my dream is to have this in purple calligraphy one day, I just wanted to get something to everyone that I think is readable.

Hopefully this can get you started - my apologies if some notation is rough (either wrong, or hard to read) --- Feel free to give me feedback if you like.

If this is too tough to read, please let me know and I'll get the MIDI set up going.

Thanks for that. I will give it a go. Although at the rate I learn it will be about a year before I can play it!
