Wish it didn't take so long for worlds to collide

Maybe I'd be better off not knowing

What the future holds

But being held captive in ignorance

Is not an option that unfolds

Even down, I'm not yet out

There are paths still untrodden

Doors to open within and without

Before we're caught unladen

All the heavy burdens dispersed
