Dancing on the ashes

Of what has come before

I feel a continuum of life

Explode within my veins

A celebration of life over death

The stomping on visceral ashes

The re-lighting of a flame

That refuses to be doused...

Burning in the extreme

Once again, past all pain

Past all doubt...

A spiritual awakening

Within and without

A reawakening to the beauty

Precious connectedness

That joins us all together

Living creatures on one world

That must somehow learn

To survive with one another

Despite all of our differences

Stomping on the ashes

Of all that has come before

And dance to a New Dawn...

Celebrate these moments

Now, before we move on.
