this forum needs to be gone... then if people want to post artistic stuff they can do so in general discussion... it might actually get looked at/listened to there

the reason nobdy posts here is because it never gets much of a reaction, so what's the point?

and it's not like the GD forum is super busy now anyway

F that!

I love this part of the Org and the peoplle who were brave enough to put their work out into the world. If you post here looking for attention, then you're missing the point. Frank Axtell posted enough music around this forum for 20 albums and he just kept doing it, whether you listened or not.

Some artists are gone but never forgotten! There's no reason to live in the past though, live in the present! What are you working on musically or otherwise TODAY?

I'm making a committment to come back here at least once a week. If not to post something I'm working on, at least to review someone's work (if they want) or make a comment.

Maybe the Org itself is slowing down in the numbers of people who still come here, I just don't care, I love the Org Artist Community!

Who's with me?!!!

For a long time, this forum was mainly, "How do you play (Insert Prince Song Here)?" and it seemed to be much more active.

I guess we learned all the songs? Or gave up? LOL.

Also, DreamFirstBornJew isn't around any more.

i remember when ben started this forum... i thought it was a great idea.... really well intentioned

over the years i've enjoyed listening to/reading a lot of stuff... particularly when beau was a regular contributor... i've enjoyed hearing frank's stuff... and yours

but select threads from the last 90 days... most have no replies at all... some with just a few ... it's not about looking for attention... 'community' implies open discussion... a back and forth thing... there's none of that here... hence this thread being started

what i find a real shame is that if someone chooses to post something artistic in general discussion, to show the people they generally hang with on this site, it's moved over here, never to be seen again... sure people could come here and check it out... but the fact is they seldom do

i guess that's my biggest issue... i think it's uncool that something so well intentioned has caused that to happen... and it's not like general discussion is so busy it couldn't deal with an extra couple of threads

but you're right man... it's what you make it... and maybe i should get off my arse and try and take an interest in this forum... pony up and post some music here

i just think it's shitty that anything artistic gets moved here... to me, it goes against the purpose of why this forum was started... which was a positive thing, not a restrictive thing

MoBetta I'm glad you're feeling me on this!

This place (and the Org) are as good as the people who come here or as we've seen, the people who don't.I'm not talking about the past, yes, I miss Dreamfirstborn and Beau as well but life's about living in the present!

C'mon Artists, Poets, Musicians and creative minds!

I'll have some funk to post this weekend with my new band!
