I know an artist I hav fell in love with after hearing his music, Lugo is his name. If u hav the time check his shit out.

I think we are every right capable of being so more than alot of other artists out there (need I say Master P's bullshit music & Cash Money alone..ill!)

I totally agree... there's a LOT of great stuff out there - but it's all underground at this point. Occasionally an artist surfaces, barely, (Nikka Costa comes to mind) who plays old-school funk, true to the original styles...

I definitely think it will make a comeback in the next 2-5 years, just like this new wave/punk rock movement, where bands are dressing up like old new wave bands (the Vines, White Stripes, etc).

So, keep on keepin on. We'll get ours. Don't give up.
