Harley Benton TE-80

I Spotted this guitar on a german website at the tail end of last year and I was interested in getting one....they were out of stock.

But now it has arrived and here are some pics.

They have obviously based it on Hohner's 'The Prinz' from the 1980,s.

But this is a fraction of the price still a fantastic looking guitar, build quality is also excellent.

Ive given it a quick run out and a pretty solid tele sound, and will only get better once tweeked. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Some others who have bought the same guitar have already changed the pick guard to give it the more traditional Prince tele look used on the 70's Madcat Andersons version, or Prince's Hohner.

Wrong forum, but I understand your enthusiasm and wholly condone posting about the guitar here.

That is one fine looking copy that I would love to own. Looks much better and more Prince-like than my 120 euro Telecaster copy from Richwood. Might consider getting one too!
