Apples n Twisted Twine .... The electricity when 2 ppl meet A whirlpool of Lust and desire at their feet Everything they want, all it could be Love and laughter grows from this tree
.... Connected through music a tune they share Prince is playing in their hair And If only it was this they hear love would have shown them Erotic City
... But amongst the branches twisted twine A seed of betrayal will unwind An apple offered to Adam by Eve Bitter to swallow the past retrieved
.... Anger spills over the sweet Such a mess is at their feet time may have past yet what happened then Could easily bring love to an end
.... For him its hard 2 resist Eve holds up the apple to Adams lips Its everything he wants to taste And an unbitten apple is such a waste He lives in Eden a place so divine But Eve’s apple could easily destroy his shrine
.... She is the someone he desires most Yet haunted by the past, a ghost He turns away from what he can see Because now Eve conjures love lust and fear
.... Hungry for the apple held against her breast Could this be the place 4 him to rest Its confusing because where she stands The past is there and at her command
.... He does not want that part of her And every apple has a core The uneaten Apple wastes away Yet Images of Eve 4ever stay And for him its hard to care No longer in his heart she’s in his hair
.... With the past that he could not face She puts down the fruit n moves real slow a new life that she tries 2 embrace She is living where apples don’t grow
