Has faded into neon mediocrity And now we worship stars Of questionable ability Can science guarantee the shine After multiple lawsuits take place Who is left to swipe The coal dust off the face Of indifferent orphans Of the industrial race When it has crashed Into a dissonant echo Of the distant promise It seemed to hold... Who, again, will be so bold Blaze meteoric paths Across a boundless sky Not fettered alone By greed or ambition... But simply wondering why Things work the way they do How they can work for me And you... Now, you have to travel Even farther away To see if that Kaleidoscope exists Today...
