ok, I tried to add a guitar to the linn4days song, here it is:

https://soundcloud.com/jo...guitar-add

tell me what you think?

It sounds pretty bad quality because I couldn't get it any better, but that melody or funky guitar add on that spot I think could work.

What's your opinion?

Cool.

It may take me awhile, but I can probably get you a version with no guitar, so you won't have to work over it...

I thought about that last month..

thanks man, no horry, my guitar sounds like s*** anyway, but this is a under development all the time if I'm right, but this one is like the linn -type minimal version of it, I think we could make it full on band type song too, but maybe later, I love the one you've made, maybe just if we add more things and chorus to it it will be more alive if you know what I mean. But I like it that way too.

If there was like some synth instead of the guitar(which is very good but then the other guitar I added doesn't take that much recignition), but I don't know... the newest version is the best one I can think of though, and that guitar I added can be added maybe later in the song... with synth, and I don't know in what part of the song..

but if you've ideas please share. smile

thanks, If I could get the guitar to sound better it might work, but it's tricky cause I like the way you've edited the guitar part in the most recent version, but still I would like to fit that funky guitar thing in there, maybe if both of the parts could be used eventually, like one chorus or whatever it is called would be like yours + some brass or saxophone, and the other would be the guitar I would like to add + some synth. But I don't have clear enough picture in mind to work with so like you said if you can sometime in the future take the guitar away so I could play the guitar with better quality and see how it sounds like. thanks for your interest!

This is m first time on the site since my last post..I had a rela bad cold, and I am chasing $$$s ...I have so many tracks that I've yet to complete..

Maybe, I can create seperate "stems" for you...or chop 'em up into riff-bits.. So you can keep certain parts, but be able to "re-mix" with your play in the fore-front..

I don't know..I do know that to keep it together, placement will be an issue...It was for me--during a re-mix competition aehile ago..Maybe not for you though.. Keeping elements of the original track can be difficult.

I haven't found a sax synth good enough...If there was, I would use it a lot for my own enjoyment..Maybe somebody else can come in, and add it..

I think that I will focus on breaking-up the beat-track, bass, and guitar into seperate "Stems" for you to re-edit..

Do any of you belong to any artist collab sites? Like hitRECord.org, bandmix, or kompoz?

It might be easier to find collaborators on sites like that especially since this one is sort of dead...

I'll check them out...People may have some apprehension because of Copyright issues...to collaborate.

Must have your rights protected..

You do not really know who is behind those accounts, nor who is is viewing them...
