Leave a wake of echoes in the stream

Time isn't what it should seem

The past colliding

With the present

The young seem old

The old lose themselves

To Youth

That isn't Young...

Sometimes the world

Seems crazier than I...

At deep moments in the night

When suddenly the sky is clear

And it isn't flames of fear

Or the brooding beer

Working on fumes of enmity

There are moments of clarity

That happen when all

Seems to go to hell

But that clarion call

To inner peace

Removes the shackles
