Outside the sunshine is shining
The children in the park
The geese on the wing
& u sit in doors
heart in hand
& no one to call
Pull the zip up on ur emotions
& the flag up the pole
Let the geometry of the world
spin round ur head
& aliviate the pain of ur brow

Some birds

a pretty bird once told me
what she did & saw
the pattern of song
made an entrance that transended the race
opening the Invercargill exchange
oh how we laughed & danced
wishing the sun would not rise
& the throng would last eternal

Melody placed her hand on my shoulder
Throwing her hair as she did so
The chord gently falling from her trassels
lacing a latice of grace
joined by her sisters, compassion & wisdom
we danced & laughed
wishing the sun would not rise
& the combobulated harmonies would last for altime

fused together the cartesian coordinates
in the memories of my mind
living, loving & laughin
