My first album will be released in January. It will be called "Join The Club" and will contain 12 original songs, ranging from Funk and Soul with phat 80s synths to straight Pop. I played most instruments on that album and tried to keep it organic sounding.

200 CDs will be made, sold at the live gigs and the album will also be available via download on bandcamp.com and maybe iTunes.

A self-release can be very time-consuming, stressful and, above all, expensive. While I realise this will not be an album for the masses (because it covers so many different grounds), I would still be very grateful if I could at least re-generate some of the cash I invested by album sales. So, if anyone here wants to support my music, I'd appreciate that a lot and I'll keep you updated.

By the way, the org's own JohnArt will provide the cover artwork for this album!

I can hear the Prince funk influence and the lyrics made me smile....real music by real musicians.

Thank you! Yeah, this song is definitely an ode to Prince.

The whole album is going to have a very extrovert sound and dense arrangements. I love (musical) minimalism, but on this one I felt like going all out and making the arrangements quite multilayered and detailed.

Yeah, my sound will definitely change, but back when I wrote those songs this is how I heard them, and this was always the kind of sound I wanted to go for (even before I started listening to Prince). But yes, the new stuff I am already working on has a different feel to it.
