Just my opinion, but I do not like this song. It reminds me too much of "Adore" and it is a weak knockoff of the song....These young guys want to hate on Prince and then rip him off...

Yeah purple rain reminds me of purple haze, gold reminds me of gold by spandeu ballet, cream reminds me of Cream by wu tang, Get off reminds me of Get off by Foxy, 1999 reminds me of 99 luftballons and thats why i hate all those prince songs.

Didn't I say it was my opinion. Who peed in your Cheerios! Yes, Purple Rain might sound like Purple Haze, but at least there is musicianship. At least Prince is a REAL musician who has a vault of music. These fly by night newbies will be here today and gone tomorrow while Prince's catalog will be here decades to come. The remix as you say might be tight but the lyrics are wack...just deal with it....Miguel will be gone tomorrow, I promise you this!! Especially since he has no style of his own!

look if u dont like a song thats cool, but ur arguments for not liking is just weird. if i like a song im not gonna look up if the artist is gonna last long or can play hundreds of instruments or is a real musician. All that make P a great artist, but that doesnt mean all of his song are automatically the best songs ever. All im trying to say is if a song is good the song is just good, who cares about the background info of the artist.

And u clearly didnt get my point with me naming those songs. They dont remind me 1 bit of prince songs they just have the same words in the title. Adorn is nothing like Adore. What similarities do you hear? if adorn sounds like anything else it would maybe be Sexual Healing by Marvin gaye.

What don't you get? I told you why I didn't like "Adorn". THE LYRICS ARE WACK. My argruments about why I don't like the song isn't weird. I have listened to this song several times. It gets regular airplay, but you and I both know Miguel is just the new favor of the month. He has no staying power. Once again, it is just my opinion and I don't care what the young musicians say or don't say about Prince. Prince's volume of work speaks for itself. Spandau Ballet is gone, Wu Tang haven't done anything of wrote, etc. Basically, the groups you mentioned in your earlier post are no more. Prince is still here......
