Permanent Impermanence
I'm not quite willing to part With segments of my heart yet If I were willing to do so I would share it with you I would write that story I always meant to But never really did
I would finish that So-called painting That sat in the corner For too many years Gathering so much dust And as many tears...
Wash away my fears Life is too short Too many things abort And end up as Shiny tokens of the past Nothing really can last
Time to put away memorabilia And live in the present And, who knows, It might lead to Incensed new horizons Instead of time Held in suspense After all, life is a state of Permanent Impermanence... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
