You make me dance alone in your spotlight
I feel naked with all my emotions on show
This feeling of love I can not seem to fight
No need to tell you 'cos you already know
A wry smile cuts across your beautiful face
As you watch me struggle with my tortured heart
Like the cat and the mouse it's all in the chase

Very nice. .

There was an org collaboration that was gonna happen a while back but not sure what happened there. I was thinking if people want to start it over or we could do a photography/poetry book with photography orgers showcasing their work and we org poets/writers can write poems to them...what does everyone think?

Why the lol? I think it would be cool and maybe even put it as a sticky to see how much attention it gets.

A Lonely Old Man

I don't know why I sit here and just write
Have I just given up and lost my drive and fight
So frustrated and so angry with me and myself
All this loneliness can't be good for my health
I seem to be happy when I am alone and sad
Sometimes I feel I'm just going crazy going mad
Am I alone with all the crazy thoughts in my head
You will die a lonely old man the last words she said

So why keep doing it hoping someone will care
A new relationship would be nice If I did dare
When I look in the mirror I see a strangers face
Can't even remember when he took my place
Sorry to have to dump my pity all on you
I guess I just wanted your opinion, your point of view
Sill I suppose the world still has to spin around
You will find someone, oh I wish I had a pound

I just read through the thread--you have a very heart-felt and nice way with words.
