I don't know how many of you know about garageband.com - you put your songs up there, they get critiqued by other members. In order to put a song up, you have to review 15 pairs of songs, so it's a great way to get blind/honest feedback on your songs.

Also, they rank the songs based on reviews/ratings. One of my songs, "As Good" has been picked to be "Song Of the Day" in the funk category! It's going to be next Wednesday.

"As Good" is like #30 on the funk chart right now - I just put it up there LAST THURSDAY!! Man I'm blown away.

I HIGHLY recommend joining - it's given me great feedback on what is working and what I'm doing wrong on my songs - so with each new song I write/record, I've got a better idea of what to do - not just in the writing, but technically. There's some serious musicians/engineers that are members of the site, so your reviews range from just plain ol' praise for a neat song, to very technical review where they suggest a little more reverb here, a little more high-end eq on that track, it's really a great site.
