Question about Lm-1 drum machine

I purchased a CD which was advertising to contain the classic Linn LM-1 drum machine sounds. Upon recieving said CD it only contained the Linn Drum, sounds aswell as Linn 9000. Are the sounds on the LinnDrumm the same as the original or fairly different. Just wanna know asap, cheers.

The 9000 is said to contain the samples from the LM-1 model as well. I'm not sure if this is true. Maybe they were on an additional / custom EPROM or something, I've never used it myself.

There are some very good free LM-1 samples on the net as well. The links can be found on the wikipedia page for the LM-1 (as well as some additional horsheshit information about Prince having used it on "virtually every song that was released on Warner Bros. Records" - who the hell wrote that lol)

LM-1 and Linndrum have different sounds. The snare and clap are very different.
