Last Days Of Summer
As daylight dies In the autumn sky The heat recedes To leave a residue
Of summertime The after-taste Left-over satisfaction And a little longing For the season Not to end
Even though You know It must begin Again
But the years Roll by too quickly So that you treasure Days such as this
Wishing you could freeze Such a moment in time But the seasons change We all grow older And need to Savour such days When they come to us. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
