this one... i am not drunk....

I’m so tuff now there are no fears
My throat is blocked with only tears
I’m so mean I do not bleed
And my heartache has no beat

All the pain drifts away to sea
But the memories I hold in me
Scares are always first to heal
It’s only sadness I often feel

You had the chance to change this path
Yet u decide to mock and laugh
My escape slashed on my wrist
Your power held through clenched fist

I have lived in solitude
Thinking selfish would b just rude
Frightened to tell a tale
Of a nasty abusive male

The End to this is my only dream
Where I find a voice and scream
To unearth wings in the sky
And use them only once....... to fly

i promise myself the next poem i write is going to be about happiness.....

and if it turns out to b a norty poem i will def share it with u guys

Good poem , i think its hard to write happier poems cause hurt seems to be explained so much easier!

that is so true... and we tend to take happiness 4 granted, often reflecting on our pain
