Anyway This song is about just freedom and shit.

I t had a sample of "Power 2 The People" by Lennon, but u know with copyright puropses and stuff, had 2 go. It also had a nice speech by some old guy dunno his name...

Okay, pp4 MY opinion - the vocals - they start half-way through the song, and they're waay waay waayy buried. You need to bring them more to the front of the mix - increase either the volume, or just crank the midrange of the eq, and that'll maintain the overall volume, but it'll still push them more into the mix, other wise, I'd have no idea what you're saying.

It's a good beat, but, overall, it sounds like a rough rough idea that you just haven't fleshed out enough... it may just be the mix that's doing the song injustice... It has a dry "Aoutomatic" feel to it. Go listen to that song, and try to hear how he's mixed it down - there's the ambient keys going in the background, like your song, but they don't dominate the song like yours.. You need to try to balance everything out a little better, I suppose.

I had 2 edit it terribly...It was originally 5 minutes long..that's y hte lyrics dont start till later. Im sorry about the vox. It sounds different at home, but thru mp3.com, kinda sounds weird. lol! I dunno...

The song was made in 2001 when I first got my machine. I tried 2 do the vox over, but I had 2 turn it down because it drowned out the beat!

oh, also about the Automatic sound...i never really thought about it, but nmow that im looking back on it ur right! I liked putting the drums out 2 the fore and making it all crazy by the end. I like doing that. Its a Jimmy & Terry 80's influence like what they did with "I Didnt Mean 2 Turn U On" & "Just The Way U Like It"

I really like the closed high hat and the humpty clap on it. The synth is very outer space- I like it. I think that we can tweak that one when we hook up both of our equipment and synths, because I reeeallly want to use that drum clap like the Digital Underground stuff.


A very creative piece- I know the sound quality is airy, but we will fix that with my Tascam.
