I am going to be working on a Prince painting soon!

what's a good safe way to safely ship out a painting? would i just have to go to something like fed ex kinkos and have them wrap it? i got like 25 prince paintings i did and would like to start selling them but i wanna make $$ on then not lose $$ cause it costs and arm and a leg to ship em to ppl safely...how do you ship em? any advice? thanks

Sure- I always ship Fed Ex ground- I've found that it's the cheapest, although they don't always treat them as "Fragile" cargo- but since mine are done on wood and alot of time, thick wood, it's fine. I recently sent a 2 1/2 ft by 2 ft painting on wood from Atlanta to Virginia and it only cost 5 dollars! If yours are done on canvas just wrap it very heavily in bubble wrap and it should be fine shipped Fed Ex ground. Well, that's the cheapest I've found. Never use the post office, they're crazy expensive! good luck!

p.s. I always get my bubble wrap and plain packing paper from Wal-mart which is really priced well and I just wrap them to death so that nothing can hurt them!

oh ok thanks! i was thinking that too. a bunch of bubblewrap. then know i have no excuse not to start selling these! some of these ppl on ebay are ripoffs! i was thinking it was gonna be insane to ship. good to know

cool paintings btw. and damn you paint big ones! i only did one around the size of a standard poster and the rest mostly i think 16 by 20?

I want to see your Prince paintings! Can you direct me to them? Are they on here? I went to your profile but didn't see anything about them. I bet you'll have no problem selling them!
