Brand New Funk! "The Adventures Of Fo-Fo In The Land Of The Crooked Cross" by ME

Check this out if you get time. This song is a long 10 minute Knee Deep type of jam.

vocals are a little hot to me in certain areas like you were moving to and from the mic while you were singing?

I noticed that too. It's not as bad when it's not a download, but I did get a bit carried away on a couple parts- so exciting! lol smile

Yeah! This is great! (As always) I dig the guitar solo near the end. Your lyrics are cool too. Good keyboard licks; Very Prince. Do you still use just the Korg? If so, that's amazing to me that you can get the sound out of it. I must learn from you!

You rock the hiz-ouse!

Yep I'm still on the Korg. I try to get the most out of what I have as far as getting the most funk for my money. I can use other sounds and do other things, but to portray my funk, even I don't have the sounds for what I want to do, so I use what is the most similar to the sounds that I hear in my head.

Here is the amount of equipment that I have-

Korg N364 Workstation
Tascam 4 track recorder with bouncing capability to 8 tracks
DOD Votec effects processor
Harmon/Kardon Dolby B/C noise reduction deck
Aiwa dual CD recorder
One Audio Technica studio mic

That's all I have. So, I am mostly analog. If and when I ever get any extra money (which will be in about 3 years) I will probably get me either another Korg or a Roland of some kind. I like Roland's sounds and drum kits better, but Korg is a bit easier to use...hmmm...we will see. Or, maybe I can get to know someone who has some equip that I can share, record on, and jam with.
