Back in 2007 i formed my first band called EdgeUCation. I use to be (a rapper). After becoming bored of the genre and being conned by producers - i decided to form a band with a friend at College. He introduced me to his church band and we then started developing our first album. I began writing material which would deal with themes and social issues that were contemporary at that time period. For example: Youth Gun Crime, the current state of the music industry, depression/loneliness, viewpoints on the war and many others. I strongly felt that the band would have to play 100% real music, this is something that is seriously lacking in the HIPHOP genre and many others. After performing a couple of venues and recording three demo tracks in 2008 we later disbanded. This was due to my feeling that, the band wasn't committed or serious about the project.

The album Bak2Skool is virtually written. 6 songs are finished and just need recording. The good news is, we are now re-forming after a two year gap. The song I've chosen to post is our favourite song Tha Higher Grounds. When we performed this song would extend to fifteen minutes in length. The studio version was seriously lacking the punch of the extended guitar solos, audience participation and other jamming moments, however we plan to record this album live at a concert in the future. I've posted this demo to see what you guys think.

Funnily enough each song focuses on a different genre. One of the tracks will be recorded in an Indie manner
