Hey Camrod...left a replyh but I think due to my ineptitude, sent it as an orgnote to someone else who had provided their comments...sorry.....could not find how to add to the thread....

Anyway.. the gist of what I wanted to say was that I really liked where U were going....I think as a fan, I would make the following comments:

Elevate the bass more....I am a fan on EWF....plain and simple, and love the fact that even when the horns, vocals arrangements are percolating, that Verdine's bass is right there as an anchor....not overpowering, but supporting...listen to Sunshine from Gratitude, or Cant Hide love...I think those 2 tunes come to mind where the bass is distinctive and carries a weight of its own....I thinkure tunes might lack that anchor...

Love the organ....keep that up.....!!

Am a fan of real music...I know technology has its place, but when U strip it down, instruments are the thing that add flavor and complexity....I "ll put it this way...When I listen to a Legendary EWF tune, I think of the fact that if U strip away the vocals, the words, the horns...the basic track of what is left is sufficent, and strong enough to carry on its own.....I like that kind of approach, which is why I bemoan the type of arrangements and music that is out htere now....U have a good start, and I like where URe mind is......keep it up.
