HOW TO REDUCE NOISE ON A RECORDING?

hello everyone, I have a voice recording which is very disturbed by a background noise. I've tried hard to work on it, but I'm ignorant about frequncies and sound programs such as Nero Wave editor etc.

Is there anyone who can help me? it's very important for me.

the file is quite short (the most important part is 10 minutes) and I think it could be correted fastly by an expert guy.

PLEASE, send me a private message if you are willing to help me.

thanks

what exactly is your overall goal? you can boost or reduce frequencies, but you can't do magic. do you just want to make the talking clearer?

yes, I want to make the talking clear, but the problem is that it's lower than noise...and I am not so expert in frequency. I have wavepad editor, and in the reducing noise function, it eliminates all the sound which is lower than the db you set..or at least this is what I understood. I'm not able to eliminate the sound higher.

you could try boosting the midrange frequencies and reducing the upper and lower frequencies

you could also try looping a sample of the background noise and reverse phasing it and layering it looped over the whole recording
