Just launched new Website! Hello fellow Orgers, I wanted to put myself out there to see what you guys & girls think of my music. I would love some pointers of how to create a bigger fanbase or regular visiters to the site??

Hey Paul
When I finished reviewing your album I was going to tell you to come over here and do this. You beat me to the punch.
Just wanted to tell everyone they should most definitely check out this site and Paul's tunes.
He's got a great voice and some very good songs/videos.
The video (not to mention the fabulous song) for My Story Ending is worth the price of admission alone.

Paul, your songs are fucking brilliant! I mean that, man.

You should definitely do Ernest's show. He's just kick starting a cool program that is very supportive on independent artists. He's already had some great guests and I think it would help to get you a few more listeners over here. | |

So having listened to Paul's album now the greater part of the last month and a half, I feel like I am actually able to give this a proper review.
My only pre- commentary is I generally don't like new music. I find most people today are pretty formulaic and unoriginal. Overall, I find this album bridges the gap quite well between accessibility and originality. And also, as I mentioned before, Paul has a fantastic voice.
Wonder - Great opening track. I'm generally a sucker for songs in 6/8 time and this has really good energy.
All Over the World - When I first heard the opening verse music with the descending chord pattern, I thought we were going to be in trouble. I thought - "uh-oh, I'm not going to like this tune". But the stops with "If You'll Be Mine" into the chorus are brilliant. And the chorus itself turns everything around. Brilliant song. (Although I do prefer the acoustic live version on your video section)!!!
Until It Breaks - This is the only song on the album I flat out don't like. The use of the "uh-oh" falsetto stuff drags the tune down a bit more for me personally. Not a fan of this one. Sorry bro
 Loud and Clear- Nice album track. I like the energy of the chorus. Personally I would have pushed the drums up a bit higher in the mix to give the song a bit more energy, but that is really just splitting hairs. Very good song.
A Warning - Absolutely beautiful. Everything about it is magical. Very heartfelt song from top to bottom, sung beautifully and produced perfectly. KILLER TRACK
My Story Ending - Pardon my French, but this song is fucking brilliant. Everything about it is absolutely magnificent. I play this song religiously. The video for this song is also very cool.
Beautiful Day For Goodbye/The Score - These two songs don't really reach out and grab me. They are decent songs that I don't reach for the proverbial "skip button" each time I hear them, but they don't get me excited either.
Peculiar Way - See Loud and Clear. I know you're not a "rocker" guy so to speak, but the phrasing of the chorus is so wonderful. I just hear it in my head with more energy. Very good song.
Go Back - I'm sure you must get this all the time, and I hope it's not a sore spot for you. But there are many moments on this record that put me in the mind of Coldplay. And for whatever reason, this song does it for me more than the rest. Very nice pleasant album closer.
Again, I consider myself an EXTREMELY tough music critic, and for me to only find true fault with one song really says something. You really should support a fellow independent artist and check out his material. | |
