It's good, very catchy.

Love the production, the girl's voice. I can't say I love it 100% but then I may not be the target audience.

The guitar whammy stuff particularly. I don't know if that stuff is coming back en vogue, maybe it is, but I didn't like it in the 80's and I don't like it now lol

The song itself is actually a little weird, but not in a bad way. It's very catchy, but changes in somewhat unexpected ways for such a pop style. For example, the rhymes (or lack thereof) or the way the chorus has a second section are not what I would expect, but they don't detract from the whole.

Lyrics are good, tell a concise & original story (John Lennon aside), but are also part of an experience that anyone can relate to. I mentioned the lack of rhymes, which I found odd, but I don't think it's noticeable when listening (only when I read them) because the music & phrasing holds it all together.

Good job!

I listen to mostly pop music, but not necessarily music that's meant to be pop.

That means I listen to very famous musicians who became popular, but not necessarily stuff like this which seems clearly intended for the top 40 (like Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Gaga, Madonna)

I guess in the early-mid 80's I did listen to top 40 radio.

it's a bit limited since it's all about the SONGS or an ALBUM rather than an artist. You can't embed all sorts of crap, which is probably why it looks better lol

nope

what we have done is this:

http://maniccity.com/
like a console page
from here you go to youtube, myspace etc and recent updates on twitter etc.
we used the bandcamp pages as part of this site for the music section
