So I'm looking to buy a synth (again) to make my own little electro funk/pop/rock stuff and so far by price and quality the Korg R3 seems to be the top prospect. For 500-600, are there any better synths to get that old school funk analog sound? Preferably a more modern synth with USB/ease to record into a computer, but not something to thin/techno sounding kinda thing. I don't know, school me
