"How Stella Got Her Groove Back" Inspired by an org blog thread. I was inspired to record this song after reading a thread about two weeks ago that had to do with analogue vs. digital recording techiques. I use a digital eight track because it has knobs and faders and effect sends and stuff, I aint trying to stare at no computer screen and click around with a mouse. I then transfer that to cassette tape, then back to digital for mastering and upload. CHeck it out! It's here: www.tonyezzy.com It's one or two songs down the list, after the 'James Gilliland, Art Bell' post.

www.tonyezzy.com 2 make a short story long: This is my 1st contact with ur music. My 1st reaction is "oh lawd another one of these post-Prince pseudo funkateers" because of the melody and singing, and then my 2nd reaction is "oh shit these arrangements are totally insane, i love the way he's deconstructing mpls funk into some crazy contemporary composition!!!". 2 make a long story short: I LOVE it!!! Thanks 4 sharing!!! A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/ | |
