If you look under your pic theres a few choices to choose from one of them saying img code...if you right click and copy it, then come back here, right click and paste it you should see it.. biggrin

The 1st pic is my Squier Strat & my Schecter Cloud being re-habed & painted
The 2nd pic is an imitation Les Paul being re-habed & a current Cloud project
The 3rd pic is my beloved Ibanez Electric Acoustic, a gift from my wife
The 4th pic is a Cloud I built 2 years ago that's also being re-habed along with my Hohner HTA490
The 5th pic is my pedalboard
There is another pic of a tele I built some years back that I don't really play anymore, notice the misspelled Fender logo done purposely!

Like this thread. Here's some of my stuff. I've got more guitars in my rehearsal space, together with a Fender Rhodes Mark 1 piano and a midified Linndrum.

I recently started having my straps made, customised for wireless transmission:

And my pedal board:

Nice gear David1974. I thought the pic was flipped because all the guitars and basses are lefties. Then I saw the Yamaha logo was right. Them's a lot of left handed gits. eek

Prince was indeed my musical inspiration. Although I must say I was into MJ's music at first, but growing up as a teenager, I fell in love with that MPLS sound.

I use Roland Jazz Chorus amps because they've got the best clean sound for me.

Tell me about it smile . It took me a few years to get these. Them Fender Blue Flower and Pink Paisley tele's are hard to find left handed. Not to mention the Hohner Prinz.

Those particular ones amazed me in that they existed at all as lefties. Nice finds.

I think everyone was into MJ at first, once the movie came out the switch was made at the age of 11 & I haven't swayed away since. I never heard of Roland amps, i'll have to check youtube for vids on these. I prefer the Mesa's just to get a little dirt(Gain)on the clean.

If you like a little dirt on the clean, the Mesa's will suit you better. But if you really want a clean sound, then the Roland JC series are the best you can get. They have a built in chorus and the older series have the vibrato as well. Both of these effects were the blueprint for the CE-2 and VB-2. There's also a distortion, but everybody agrees on that one: forget about it.

To add a little dirt to the clean if I want to, I use the BD-2 or the SD-2 in crunch mode. The latter is a very underated stomp box IMO. Especially combined with the BD-2. A friend of mine has the exact same pedal board set up as Prince's, but when he heard the SD-2, he searched the net for one (they are discontinued) and threw the Turbo Distortion out the door.

A BD-2 is a Blues Driver which I use, but the SD-2 I never heard of. Is It a Boss box as well?

^Dave I have an overdrive distortion pedal packed away with a dynamic-wah & a disortion pedal all Boss. I may have too pull it out, i'm just flat-out in love with the metal zone. Gets that "Undertaker" tone perfectly!

Metal Zone? Really? Never tried that one. The Undertaker sound comes from a Zoom machine. I forgot what type, but my friend has the same one.
