Remembered: Ruthie RIP 19.12.08 Ruthie - I hardly knew her. by Syble®08
It's hard to equate the meaning of a friend ... do they need to have been at the beginning or the end? this new world of cyber is quite wierd, in that we meet and then disappear ... the eperfect nonsense to what we once held dear. A tangeable friendship of up's and down's, yet poor Ruthie has gone and for me it's a ... frown. My one time encounter in real life .. my online banter, My poor Ruthie has left us bereft. ----- ok not my best poem, but sincere. rest in peace ruth, (paisley) walk with crooked shoes www.myspace/syblepurplelishous

That was a beautiful poem Syble... I love the line "do they need to have been at the beginning or the end"... it's still so sad but life moves on, I think she's always in my heart though, and I always smile when I think of her. I spoke to her daughter on facebook, and she said that she and her Dad were going to go to the cinema on the day, because obviously they can't face doing anything more at the moment. I told her we all still thought of her Mum very fondly.
I added something to the original thread, but this is much better! Rest in peace our 'sweet cheeks' Ruthie
