Logic or Pro tools?

I've been using Logic for many years,
but now I'd really love to start working with Pro tools.

I wonder if anyone in here has experienced both Logic
and Pro tools and also been upgrading from Pro tools 7.4
to 8 and what you prefer working with.

put it this way, all the serious music producers I know, that have Logic and have also experienced PorTools, have chosen to stick with Logic. They expressed that you get more bang for the buck with Logic. They sited more standard plug-ins and a better 'feel'. The had the resources to get whatever they wanted and it wasn't a matter of straight $$. If you are thinking of being an engineer for a studio, PorTools is the industry standard so that would be to your advantage. I bought PorTools 7.4 last year so I could learn it. I was a big Cakewalk/Sonar user and wanted to see if I'd convert over. The reason I didn't was because the hardware I used with Sonar was a digital 8 in/out piece and the Tools mini box was just 2 in/out with much more latency. I dont do much recording now though. If you get the more expensive box with more ins/outs, the latency won't be a problem. PorTools still doesnt allow for you to use your own hardware and are stuck with using theirs. Tools is a solid product though. I dont know if Logic has the equivalent Warp feature that Tools has but all the other features are there.
