Sometimes (Everything That's Right Seems Wrong)

It's just a rough demo mix, but this should capture the idea of it. I don't like the vocals yet and the sound is quite crappy.

Nevermind, ladies and gentlemen. You have been waiting all your worthless lives to hear this:

www.myspace.com/daveyouownme

Imagine, imagine
Imagine, imagine

Imagine a forest with no leaves
Imagine a plain truth that you can’t believe
Imagine loving the one with whom you cannot be
It feels like dry dust in the deep blue sea

Imagine, imagine
Imagine, imagine

Imagine, you lose your precious find
Imagine, you see your home but you cannot get inside
Imagine, the one you love doesn’t treat you right
You see, it feels like being blind

'Cause sometimes everything that should be right seems wrong
Sometimes you want to get away although you know where you belong

Imagine, the sun is rising high
Imagine that you still cannot see the light
Imagine crying your heart out every single night
When you lose the one who used to be by your side

Imagine crying out "come back!", don’t leave me here
You want to love, but there’s this thing called fear
Imagine, you so much want to touch her but you cannot reach her

'Cause sometimes everything that should be right seems wrong
Sometimes you want to get away although you know where you belong
Sometimes everything that should be right seems wrong
Sometimes you have to stay although you know where you belong

Sometimes you gotta give in...
Sometimes you gotta give in...
Sometimes you gotta keep on livin'...

Thank you.

No, it's not just you. That song and the lyrics were written in a time that felt like a never-ending time warp in a hell full of cold ice and stone for me. Actually, the whole "album", when finished - The Crying Clown - will carry this subject on. It's a piece of work for me to process that half a year.

Thank you very much! hug

About the bold part: omfg Did you ever hear me talk? Actually, I have the most British, sometimes even cockney (that's the typical London accent, not anything else, idiot.) accent ever!

But, you're right, my pronounciation changes from song to song. It depends on what tone colour I want to add. My cockney English sounds a bit more sarcastic and cocky (pun intended), which wouldn't have fitted that song!

Oh, I meant your singing accent in combination with your 'style' of song.

I've heard German pop bands and let me just say... oh HELL NO!! I would imagine Austrian bands are just as dreadful. You don't sound like those bands.

hug

You have a British accent lol

I notice that a lot of Germans and French who have mastered English speak it British in style, but the Dutch speak it like Americans.

I love that the world is shrinking! lol

Keep up the good work thumbs up!
