mini disc to harddrive? any of you pc savvy orgers know how i can take a song from my minidisk player and ultimately have it as a workable mp3? all this without a USB hook-up??? please??? "Whatever skin we're in

Well, the USB will ensure that it stays digital but you could just record an mp3 from your line in socket on your soundcard. Theres plenty of software out there to do it. Some of its free. Search for Easy CD-DA Converter. Thats what I use Lewis | |

hmm, :I: Use an analog connection from my portable MD Line Out 2 channels 1 & 2 of my Soundcard... :I: play the whole song (album etc...) in2 Soundforge and then save it as an MP3 (around 192kbps). This can B done effectively with Sound Forge 5. 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

If you have a digital input on your sound card, that would be best.
If not, line out from the MiniDisc to Line in on your sounds card. Use Wavelab, it can record and convert to MP3 in the best quality. I think it can even record as MP3, but I'm not sure. _______________________________
